This [workshop] session aims to provide a general outpouring of design inspiration, aspirational musings, semi-qualified instruction, and other sundry snippets. In reality, it is meant to pique one’s interest in the world of design and to solicit thoughts on what is desired in future sessions, whether more tactically specific or broad-based in it’s elucidations of the elements of design all around us.

From this initial session, we aim to find out from attendees what aspects of design they are interested in exploring in more depth in future sessions. These could range from a portfolio-intensive workshop series that will prepare students for applying to design schools, to a design incubator program where projects are proposed to engage participants in critical and creative thinking on theoretical design problems.

The workshop is facilitated by a small registration fee of $10 which will include a beverage of the participant’s choosing. The contribution isn't just about covering costs—it's also a simple way to confirm your commitment. We've found that participants who make even a modest investment are much more likely to attend, which helps us create a better experience for everyone.
